New Additions to my Reborn Family

There's nothing like getting a reborn baby delivery. It is truly something so special and my excitement builds up from the time of purchase until the time they arrive home to me. The excitement comes in different parts- there's finding that special reborn doll to purchase, clicking purchase is just as exciting, but then tracking the delivery is when the fun begins. You can see your reborn doll make its journey across the country and sometimes across the world waiting for the special arrival. 

Sometimes I have a name picked out as soon as I see the baby. This here is Sophie, one of my newest additions to my reborn family. She is the sold out limited edition Tutti sculpt by Natali Blick. Sophie is also a prototype, which means she was one of the very first created before her kit was released to the public. This also makes her super special to me. 

While waiting for her arrival, I also went clothes shopping and picked out a few new outfits for her. This is one of my favorite parts too. Not that I need anymore clothes for them, but it's nice picking out a few or even just one outfit for their welcome home photo. This outfit is from Baby Gap, one of my favorite places to shop. For me, getting a new reborn delivery is extremely special. It gives me something exciting to look forward to. I don't often have many things to look forward to in my day to day life, so I try to look for ways to bring exciting moments in and getting a reborn doll delivery is something that gives me the most amount of joy and excitement. Any delivery related to my reborn dolls always makes me extremely excited. I love the box openings, that's another favorite part of mine. 

Last week, on Thursday it was my birthday. Sophie was a birthday present to myself and I also had one other special delivery that was a birthday present to myself. This is Ella Grace. She is the sold out limited edition Lou Lou by Joanna Kazmierczak. I have been wanting this sculpt for the longest time and I finally found my Lou Lou last week from my good from Meli. She has a reborn nursery with some amazing reborn dolls for sale. You can find her reborn nursery here. Up until this week, I had never really bonded well with vinyl babies and preferred silicone babies. Ella was the first vinyl baby I absolutely loved. I can't stop interacting with her. This is something I have never experienced before with vinyl babies. I had actually sold all of my vinyl babies (I kept the older babies and toddlers that were vinyl, it was only the newborn reborn dolls I hadn't bonded with) that I had gotten last year. It was extremely exciting to finally bond with a vinyl baby.
